]]>There is also an amazing book called “The Doors of Perception” by Aldous Huxley where he does Mescaline and writes about his experience. It was very popular back in the 50’s/60’s drug era. “The Doors” got their name from that. Anyways, it’s a great book and he talks about the state as just seeing what “is” instead of seeing things through our lens of bullshit.
Then there’s Albert Hoffman, Tim Leary, etc. all amazing pioneers of psychadelic therapy. Checkout Tim Leary’s biography sometime if you can find a torrent. He is probably one of the greatest Heretics of the 20th century (his studies lead to mainstream LSD usage — funny that back in the 50’s experiences like yours were being supported by the government and the mainstream media)
